The thing about patios is they are very open to the sun and the weather. And yes of course the weather is very beautiful outside and is very enticing to just be out in the outdoors, but what about the bad weather? The overcast and even the sprinkling of rain? The sun that is constantly in the eyes of you or your guests? That kind of presents a problem especially if you want to have conversations that can make eye contact besides those that are getting soaked with jackets (doesn’t make the get together very fun) but also the blaring sun that is making everybody squint so they have to wear sunglasses. So with the sunglasses, you can’t see the expressions or really tell whether they are truly listening to your end of the conversation. Yes sunglasses are great, but at a get together, if there was someway that you could eliminate both of these problems you would take it wouldn’t you? Yes!! There is some options for you to consider. Why not make you patio an enclosed patio?

There are several things you can do to have the enclosed patio that you are seeking for. And that is either having a custom built pergola and place it over the top of your patio, or if you haven’t had your patio built yet and it is in the process of being designed and built, then why not have your patio a gazebo patio? Of course there are other options other than these. For instance you could get a completely enclosed patio that is truly “indoors”, but that would kind of take away the purpose of the patio in the first place.

No glasses, no fear of getting rained upon. Some of the best times are having barbecues or a get together in the rain, so why not have a barbecue underneath something that won’t get you wet in the slightest? Problem solved!
