Baby Must Haves

Get it done sooner then later so your friends and family can start shopping immediately.  They will love buying these essentials for you and your baby and financially it will be huge relief for your budget.  The following is a list to give you an idea of the items you will definitely need.  We will also make some product recommendations where we find appropriate.  Here it goes:

For your baby’s wardrobe get onesies (if you like organic baby clothes you can find some really cute organic onesies at First Step Organic), sleepers or gowns, hats and sweaters (notice we do not list gloves here as we believe they are not necessary, hard to keep on and a good nail care routine makes them obsolete).

For the bath-time: baby tub, sulfate-free toiletries, cotton washcloths and towels (if you chose organic cotton baby clothes you should get these in organic cotton as well)

To carry your baby get a sling, front or back-pack style carrier.  They’re comfortable, keep your baby close to you and keep your hands free.

For feeding your baby you’ll need bottles, assorted nipples, sterilizer and formula for bottle feeding and a highchair, bibs, baby utensils, plates and bowls for regular feeding.

Don’t forget to have plenty of gymini, soft blocks, rattles, puzzles and teething rings to stimulate your baby and blankets, pacifiers, music (from CD or your own voice) and a swing to soothe them.  Unless you are planning to stay at home with your baby the whole time, you will absolutely need a stroller, a diaper bag to carry around the goodies, plenty of wipes, changing pads and a car seat.
